I had a very disappointing experience with one of the agent managers during a property viewing at Esthersingel. We scheduled the appointment for 11:30 AM more than ten days in advance and even received another confirmation email the day before. However, on the morning of the appointment, the agent called and texted to change it to 11:00 AM while I was fully occupied and had no access to my phone. When we arrived at 11:25 AM, we were given just five minutes for the viewing with not a word of introduction or details about the property but full of blame. The agent was completely disengaged, focused on her phone even when we said goodbye.

I understand that emergencies can happen, but what frustrated me the most was the agent's unprofessional attitude. Instead of apologizing or offering an alternative solution, what she kept doing was blaming us for being uncooperative and unreachable, which was completely nonsensical. This is not the level of service one expects from a professional real estate agency. I would not recommend this agency based on this experience.

Dear Ms. Cao, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re truly sorry to hear that your visit to the Esthersingel property left you with such a negative impression. Please know that this is not the standard we set for ourselves, and certainly not the experience we wish to deliver. We would like to explain our side of the situation, as we believe it may offer some additional context. On the morning of your appointment, we made several attempts to reach you by phone, text and email, with the aim of adjusting the time slightly to accommodate a tight viewing schedule – something we do in the interest of both our clients and other home seekers. Unfortunately, we did not receive any response from you. In the end, you arrived later than planned, which complicated further planning and made the remaining appointments more difficult to manage. This created an uncomfortable situation for everyone involved – something we clearly regret. What concerns us most is that you felt unwelcome and disrespected. That is absolutely not how we want to treat the people who come to us looking for a new home. We acknowledge that this situation was handled in a way that didn’t reflect our usual service level, and we’re sorry for that. In the spirit of moving forward, we would love the opportunity to assist you personally in your home search and show you what a positive experience with us looks like. As a gesture of goodwill, we’d also like to send you a bouquet of flowers – if you’re open to it, please let us know where we can deliver them. Should you be willing to discuss this in person, we’d be happy to invite you for a cup of coffee – on us.
