The company Buitemans services our central heating in Leiden since years to my full satisfaction. Recently a new system was installed and also this activity went flawless. The installed boiler turned out to be a perfect choice with a good price value ratio. This I remembered when I faced serious problems with a Daalderop heating system in my house in Noord Holland. This system needed maintenance cleaning and adjustments based on CO2 measurements. Unfortunately, the central heating company, which had installed the system, does not provide a maintenance service. A sticker on the hardware points to a large central heating service company instead. With them I arranged an annual maintenance service.They had apparently serviced my system before, tasked by the previous owner of my house. Unfortunately it turned out that the service technician who came did not know the type of kettle, did not know it´s function but identified immediately a malfunction.Later this diagnosis turned out to be wrong. He was not able to service and clean the system because he did not bring the required service parts.
He left without any work done. I forgot this company and tried unsuccessfully different other companies in Noord Holland. Also a contact with the Dallderop customer service desk was not very helpful. Finally, as last resource, I remembered the company Buiteman, Leiden and called them for general advice. At that point I was close to a replacement of the Daalderop system for a different one because with the heating season coming the risk of a failed central heating without a chance for repair was serious. I called Buiteman in Leiden and was astonished to learn that the company had a service car roaming about 1/2 hour away from Enkhuizen. The technician arrived as promised, adjusted the CO2 value and did a general check on the system. No fault function was identified and I saved about 450€, which would have been the cost for the identified `defect` part, which was not defect at all. The maintenance job was done fast in professional and friendly manner.
Now since 2 weeks the system runs flawless and I recognised that the gas consumption went significantly down. I am more than astonished when I read the negative comments on this site about the company J. Buiteman. My experience is completely different.

Laatst hebben ze bij ons een nieuwe airco/verwarmingsinstallatie geplaatst. Gezien de specifieke oude installatie was dat een specialistisch uitzoekwerkje. Het andere bedrijf wilde gewoon alles vernieuwen en een hele nieuwe installatie plaatsen. Gevolg een week de winkel dicht.
Door de persoonlijke aanpak en het meedenken kon een gedeelte van de leidingen behouden blijven en moest niet de hele winkel op z'n kop. best een uitzoekklusje.
Heel prettig samengewerkt en altijd ook voor de klanten. Heel persoonlijk geholpen en zeer deskundig. Kortom: erg goede ervaringen.
