I paid their invoice of €800 for a pipe repair, which was covered by my housing insurance. The next day it turned out my insurance needed some details added to the invoice or they wouldn't pay out, so I called JCB. They promised to get on it, but then never did. After literally 4 months of chasing them via phone and email and them repeatedly making promises, they finally said 'sorry it's too long ago now'. In other words, screw you, we have our money and we don't care if you can get it back from your insurance.

Edit: JCB's response below is another example. I am NOT mistaken, I have the entire email chain right here. All I want is the specified invoice that the insurance requested. JCB promised multiple times to send me this, but never delivered. It would have taken them 5 minutes.

Beste klant , wij denken dat u zich vergist. Uiteraard is dit niet onze werkwijze. Wij kunnen alles naar u toe sturen maar niet op de verdeling die u wilt om de verzekering te veel te laten betalen. Wij werken graag op een eerlijke manier. Bedankt voor deze review. We zijn blij dat er goed werk hebben afgeleverd. Mvg Team JCB
