Hi Nick, I'm sorry to hear that you're not satisfied, and I understand that this situation has been unpleasant for you. I'd like to provide a bit more context to avoid any misunderstandings. Firstly, it's important to emphasize that we do not manage the property; this means that all issues need to be resolved directly between the tenant and the landlord, without our direct involvement. Detailed inspection reports were prepared both upon moving in and moving out, and both reports were signed by you. Upon the termination of the lease, it was observed that the property was not left in the desired condition, showing significant dirt and damage. This led to a claim for damages. It's noteworthy that you initially proposed, in writing, to deduct €7000 from the security deposit. A proposal that the owner did not accept as the actual costs exceeded the deposit. Instead, the owner opted to pass on the exact costs without additional charges beyond the security deposit. It's unfortunate that an amicable resolution couldn't be reached between you and the owner, causing disappointment on your end. Unfortunately, we could not be of more help in this matter as we share the owner's perspective, who did not impose additional costs on you.
